Movie Plot: In 2080, in an unnamed Asian metropolis, cyberburg terrorists attempt to assassinate Professor Ma (Ma Jingu) on the tenth anniversary of their energy-saving solar canopy, but lose to cyber police constable Zhou Zhao (Andy Lau). Zhou’s wife, Meiy (Fan Bingbing), is killed and manages to avoid arresting terrorist leader Kallong (Louis Fan) and his wife Fana (Tang Yefei). Kalong and Feina try to assassinate teen Ma to come back in 2020 but are chased by Zhou and his daughter Qiqi (Zhu Xiao). Posing as a traffic cop, Zhou draws the attention of policeman Wang Xu (Barbie Shu) who loves him.
